"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."
-- Often attributed to, but probably not actually, Friedrich Nietzsche
I’m a photographer drawn to the space between movement and stillness. I love working with energy— in nature, in the studio, in urban environments—and finding that moment, however fleeting, where things briefly fall into place.
Everyone I work with brings something new into the world: dancers inventing new movements, actors conjuring old emotions, or entrepreneurs wielding expertise and intellect. We work together to capture that intersection of light, time, and talent. The right person; the right place; the right timing: the perfect moment.
My work is less about controlling a scene and more about paying attention to it. Somewhere in the middle of all that chaos, time begins to slow and things start to make just a tiny bit of sense—and that’s the moment I’m looking for.
